3. Setup & Activation
3.1. SIM Card Insertion
Before inserting your SIM card, ensure your GPS tracking device is powered off. The SpeedTalk Mobile SIM card is a triple-cut design, allowing you to punch out the correct size (Standard, Micro, or Nano) for your specific device. If you accidentally punch out the wrong size, you can place the smaller SIM back into the larger tray to achieve the correct size.
- Power off your GPS tracking device.
- Locate the SIM card slot on your device. Refer to your device's manual for precise instructions on how to open the SIM tray or access the SIM slot.
- Carefully punch out the appropriate SIM card size (Standard, Micro, or Nano) from the SpeedTalk Mobile SIM card.

3.2. Activation Process
A valid SpeedTalk Mobile service plan and credit card are required for activation. You can activate your SIM card and manage your account on the SpeedTalk Mobile website.

- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the activation process. You will be able to choose a U.S.A. phone number from your ZIP code or have one auto-assigned. You also have the option to port-in (keep) your existing phone number.

IMPORTANT: Your GPS device will NOT connect unless the APN (Access Point Name) is properly set!
After SIM activation, it may take up to 24 hours for GPRS and data settings to sync and update with your device. Ensure your device is powered on in an area with good signal reception.
- Turn off your GPS device, insert the SpeedTalk Mobile Data SIM card, and turn on your device.
- Activate your SpeedTalk Mobile Data SIM Card as described in Section 3.2.
- Set the APN settings on your device. Please refer to your specific device manual for instructions on how to configure the APN.
