4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Mounting

The fixture can be mounted on a flat surface or suspended using appropriate clamps and safety cables. The integrated bracket allows for manual tilt angle adjustment. Ensure the mounting surface or structure can safely support the fixture's weight (7.5 kg net weight).

Safety cable for lighting fixture

Figure 5: Example of a safety cable, recommended for securing the fixture when suspended to prevent accidental falls.

4.2 Electrical Connection

  1. Connect the power cable to the POWER IN connector on the rear of the fixture.
  2. If linking multiple fixtures, use the POWER OUT connector to daisy-chain power to the next fixture. Ensure the total power consumption does not exceed the circuit's capacity.
  3. Plug the power cable into a suitable grounded power outlet (AC90-260V, 50-60Hz).

4.3 DMX Connection (Optional)

For DMX control, connect a DMX controller to the DMX IN connector using a 3-pin DMX cable. To daisy-chain multiple fixtures, connect the DMX OUT of the first fixture to the DMX IN of the next, and so on. A DMX terminator is recommended for the last fixture in a chain.

5. Operating Modes

The fixture can be operated in several modes, selectable via the LED display and control buttons (MENU, UP, DOWN, ENTER) on the rear panel.

5.1 LED Display Navigation

5.2 DMX512 Mode

This mode allows external control via a DMX controller. Set the DMX address for each fixture using the control panel. The fixture supports 4 or 9 DMX channels. Refer to Section 6 for DMX channel assignments.

5.3 Master-Slave Mode

In this mode, one fixture acts as the master, controlling other linked fixtures (slaves). Connect the DMX OUT of the master to the DMX IN of the first slave, and so on. Set the master fixture to an auto or sound-activated mode, and set slave fixtures to slave mode via the LED display.

5.4 Sound Activated Mode

The fixture's built-in microphone detects sound, triggering pre-programmed light sequences. Select this mode via the LED display.

5.5 Auto Operation Mode

The fixture runs through various pre-programmed internal light shows and color changes. Select this mode via the LED display.
