5. (Optional) Connect Infrared Belt: If using the optional infrared belt, plug it into the designated "FIR BELT" location on the unit. Wrap the belt around the desired body part (e.g., waist, leg, arm, shoulder, or back) using the hook and loop fasteners to secure it. An extra extender is provided to lengthen the belt if needed. The machine does not require the infrared belt to operate.

6. Adjust Amperage (if necessary): Start with no salt in the water. Wait approximately one minute and check the amperage reading on the display. If the amperage does not reach the desired range (1.7 to 2.2 amps), add 1/8 teaspoon of Himalayan salt to the water, away from the array. Stir the water gently with your feet to dissolve the salt. Repeat this process, adding small amounts of salt, until the amperage is within the ideal range.
7. For High Salt Water (e.g., from water softeners): If your water naturally has a high salt concentration, you may need to adjust the sensitivity control dial on the back of the machine. Rotate the dial clockwise from its default 12 o'clock position until you can successfully run a detox session within the ideal amperage range without adding salt. Avoid using the highest possible output to prolong the life of your array.
