1. Product Overview

The Ingenuity Baby Base 2-in-1 Booster Seat is designed to provide a safe and comfortable seating solution for your child during meal times and playtime. 2. Important Safety Information

WARNING: Infants have suffered skull fractures falling while in and from floor seats.

• USE ONLY on the floor.
• NEVER use on an elevated surface.
• ALWAYS use the restraint system. Adjust to fit snugly.
• NEVER lift or carry child in the product.
• STOP USING when the child can climb out or walk.
• ALWAYS keep child in view while in product.
• DROWNING HAZARD: Infants have drowned when floor seat has been placed in a bathtub or pool. NEVER use in or near water.
• Suggested Age: 6 Months and Up.
• Do not immerse in water.

4. Setup and Assembly

4.1 Attaching the Tray

1. Locate the removable tray stored underneath the seat base. Pull it out from the storage compartment.
2. Align the tray with the slots on either side of the seat.
3. Push the tray firmly into place until you hear a click on both sides, indicating it is securely locked.

4.2 Converting to Toddler Seat (Removing Foam Insert)

1. To convert the seat for a growing toddler, gently pull the soft foam insert upwards and out of the main seat base.
2. Store the foam insert in a safe place for future use or if transitioning back to infant mode.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Using as a Floor Seat

• Place the seat on a flat, stable floor surface.
• Ensure the 3-point harness is unbuckled.
• Carefully place your child into the seat, ensuring their legs are comfortably positioned in the leg openings.
• Buckle the 3-point harness securely around your child. Adjust straps to fit snugly.
• Attach the tray if desired for feeding or playtime.

5.2 Using as a Booster Seat

1. Place the seat on a sturdy adult dining chair. Ensure the chair has a backrest.
2. Locate the chair attachment straps on the underside and back of the booster seat.
3. Securely fasten the straps around the adult chair's backrest and underneath the seat, tightening them to ensure the booster seat is stable and does not move.
4. Place your child in the booster seat and secure them with the 3-point harness, adjusting for a snug fit.
5. Attach the tray if desired.

5.3 Securing the Child with Harness

• Once the child is in the seat, bring the two side straps of the 3-point harness over their hips.
• Insert the buckles from the side straps into the center buckle until they click securely.
• Pull on the adjustable straps to ensure a snug and safe fit around your child.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

• The seat and tray are wipeable for easy cleaning.
• The tray is dishwasher-safe for thorough cleaning.
• For general cleaning, spot or wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap.
• The soft foam insert can be removed for separate cleaning.
• Do not immerse the entire seat in water.

7. Troubleshooting

• Tray difficult to attach/remove: Ensure buttons on both sides are fully depressed when attaching or removing the tray. Check for any food debris or obstructions in the slots.
• Seat feels unstable on adult chair: Verify that all chair attachment straps are securely fastened and tightened around the adult chair's backrest and underside. Ensure the adult chair itself is stable and suitable for booster seat use.
• Child not fitting comfortably: For older or larger children, ensure the soft foam insert has been removed to provide more space. Always check the maximum weight recommendation.
