2. Setup Instructions

The CROWN SHADES 10x10 Pop Up Canopy Tent features a patented one-push CenterLok system designed for quick and easy setup, typically by two people without tools. Follow these steps for assembly:

2.1 Initial Frame Expansion

  1. Remove the canopy frame from its storage bag. Place the folded frame in the desired setup location.
  2. With a person on each side, gently pull the outer legs of the frame outwards to begin expanding it. Do not fully extend the legs yet.

2.2 Attaching the Canopy Top

  1. Unfold the canopy fabric and drape it over the partially expanded frame. Ensure the corners of the fabric align with the corners of the frame.
  2. Utilize the Fast Clip system to secure the canopy fabric to the frame. These clips are designed for a secure fit and to prevent water pooling.

2.3 Engaging the CenterLok and Adjusting Height

  1. Once the fabric is in place, push the central hub upwards until it clicks and locks into place. This engages the patented CenterLok technology, securing the frame.

  1. Extend the legs to your desired height using the soft, pinch-free push buttons. There are three adjustable height settings.

3.3 Durable Construction

This pre-assembled frame supports up to 120 lbs. distributed across it, ensuring robust and reliable performance. 4. Maintenance and Storage

Proper maintenance and storage will extend the life of your CROWN SHADES canopy.

4.1 Cleaning and Drying

  • Clean the canopy fabric with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Ensure the canopy fabric is completely dry before packing it away. Storing a damp canopy can lead to mold, mildew, and fabric degradation.

4.2 STO'N GO System for Storage

The STO'N GO system simplifies collapsing, storing, and transporting the canopy.

  1. To collapse, release the leg height adjustments and the CenterLok mechanism.
  2. Gently push the frame inwards until it is fully collapsed. The canopy fabric can remain attached during this process.
  3. Cover the collapsed frame with the specialized STO'N GO cover bag. This bag includes a pocket for accessories like sandbags, stakes, and guy ropes.
  4. Utilize the integrated wheels in the feet of the frame for easy rolling and transport. For movement when set up, lift the side without wheels.

5. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your canopy tent.

  • Canopy not staying up / CenterLok disengaging: Ensure the central hub is pushed firmly upwards until it clicks and locks into place. If the issue persists, inspect the locking mechanism for any obstructions or damage.
  • Canopy moving in wind: Always use the provided anchoring spikes and guy ropes to secure the canopy to the ground. For very windy conditions, consider additional weight bags (sandbags) on each leg. Orient the canopy so that the integrated air vents are facing the wind to help reduce lift.
  • Water pooling on canopy top: The high peak design and Fast Clip system are designed to minimize pooling. Ensure the canopy fabric is taut and properly clipped to the frame. If pooling occurs, gently push up from underneath to release accumulated water.
  • Difficulty with fabric clips: Ensure the fabric is correctly aligned with the frame before attempting to attach the clips. If clips are stubborn or appear loose, inspect them for wear or damage.
  • Damaged or broken parts: If any structural bars or components are damaged upon arrival or during use, refer to the Warranty & Support section for assistance. Do not attempt to use a damaged canopy.
