Setup & Installation
Placement
Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Do not place the refrigerator in direct sunlight or near heat sources such as stoves, heaters, or radiators. Allow at least 5 inches (12.7 cm) of space between the back and sides of the refrigerator and any adjacent walls or cabinets for proper air circulation.
Leveling
The refrigerator is equipped with 2 leveling front legs. Adjust these legs by turning them clockwise or counter-clockwise to ensure the unit is stable and level on the floor. Proper leveling helps the door close securely and the refrigerator operate efficiently.
Power Connection
Connect the power cord to a grounded electrical outlet. After placing the refrigerator in its final position, allow it to stand upright for at least 2-4 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerants to settle, which is crucial for optimal performance and longevity of the compressor.
Reversible Door
The refrigerator door is designed to be reversible, allowing it to open from either the left or right side to accommodate different kitchen layouts or personal preferences. For detailed instructions on how to reverse the door, please refer to the comprehensive manual provided with your product.
Operating Instructions
Temperature Control
The adjustable mechanical thermostat control is located inside the refrigerator compartment. Turn the dial to your desired setting. The temperature range is from 32℉ (0℃) to 47℉ (8℃). Generally, higher numbers on the dial indicate colder temperatures. Adjust the setting based on the ambient room temperature and the amount of food stored.
Chiller Compartment
The half-width chiller compartment is designed for short-term storage of items that require colder temperatures than the main compartment. It typically maintains temperatures between 27℉ (-3℃) and 37℉ (3℃). This area is suitable for items like ice packs or small frozen goods, but it is not a full freezer and should not be used for long-term freezing.

Maintenance & Cleaning
Defrosting
This refrigerator features a manual defrost system. Frost will accumulate on the interior surfaces of the chiller compartment. When the frost layer reaches a thickness of approximately 1/4 inch (6mm) or more, the unit should be defrosted. To defrost, turn off the refrigerator, unplug it from the power outlet, and remove all food items. Allow the frost to melt naturally. Do not use sharp objects, electric heaters, or other mechanical devices to speed up the defrosting process, as this can damage the cooling system.
General Cleaning
Regular cleaning of both the interior and exterior of your refrigerator is recommended to maintain hygiene and appearance. Always unplug the refrigerator before cleaning. Use a soft cloth dampened with a mild detergent and warm water to wipe down surfaces. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish. Dry all surfaces thoroughly after cleaning.
Shelf Care
The coated wire slide-out shelf can be easily removed for cleaning. Simply slide it out, wash it with mild soap and water, and then rinse thoroughly. Ensure the shelf is completely dry before placing it back into the refrigerator. This helps prevent odors and maintains cleanliness.
Troubleshooting
Before contacting customer service, please check the following common issues and solutions:
Refrigerator Not Cooling
- Power Supply: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a functional electrical outlet. Check if the circuit breaker has tripped.
- Thermostat Setting: Verify that the thermostat control dial is set to an appropriate temperature (not too high/warm).
- Door Seal: Ensure the refrigerator door is closed properly and the door seal is intact, preventing warm air from entering.
- Ventilation: Check for proper ventilation around the unit. Obstructions can hinder cooling efficiency.
Excessive Noise
- Leveling: Ensure the refrigerator is level on the floor. Adjust the leveling legs if necessary to prevent vibrations.
- Contact with Objects: Check if the unit is touching a wall, cabinet, or other objects, which can cause rattling noises.
- Normal Operation: Some noise from the compressor and refrigerant circulation is normal during operation.
Frost Buildup
- Manual Defrost: This is a manual defrost unit; regular defrosting as described in the Maintenance section is required.
- Door Seal: Inspect the door seal for any gaps or damage that could allow moist air to enter and cause excessive frost.
