Setup and Installation
- Prepare the Installation Area: Ensure the fire pit pan will be installed in a non-combustible enclosure with adequate ventilation and clearance from flammable materials.
- Place the Fire Pit Pan: Carefully lower the stainless steel fire pit pan into the prepared opening. The 1 1/4" top flange should rest securely on the edge of the opening. The pan includes built-in weep holes to prevent water accumulation.
- Connect Gas Line: Connect your gas supply line to the 1/2 inch male gas inlet located at the bottom center of the pan. Ensure all gas connections are tight and leak-free. Use appropriate gas-rated sealant tape or compound. If using Liquid Propane (LP), an air mixer is required (sold separately) to ensure proper combustion.
- Install Optional Igniter (if applicable): If you are using an optional igniter (not included), utilize the provided extra mounting plate for installation. Refer to your igniter's instructions for specific wiring and placement.

Operation
- Before Lighting: Ensure the area around the fire pit is clear of debris and combustible materials. Verify all gas connections are secure.
- Lighting Procedure:
- Slowly open the main gas supply valve.
- If using a manual ignition system, hold a long lighter or match near the burner while slowly turning on the gas control valve.
- If using an electronic igniter (optional), activate the igniter while slowly turning on the gas control valve.
- Once the burner is lit, adjust the flame height to your desired level using the gas control valve.
- During Operation: Never leave the fire pit unattended. Keep a safe distance from the flames.
- Shutting Down: Slowly close the gas control valve until the flame extinguishes. Then, close the main gas supply valve. Allow the fire pit to cool completely before covering or touching.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the fire pit pan and burner. Ensure the burner holes are free from obstructions. Use a soft cloth and mild detergent for stainless steel surfaces. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect gas connections for any signs of leaks or wear. Check the burner for corrosion or damage.
- Burner Cover: Use the provided burner cover when the fire pit is not in use to protect the pan and burner from weather elements and debris, extending the product's lifespan.
- Storage: If storing for extended periods, ensure the fire pit is clean and dry. Consider covering the entire fire pit enclosure for added protection.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
| No flame or low flame | Gas supply off or low pressure; obstructed burner holes; faulty igniter. | Check gas supply valve; ensure proper gas pressure; clear burner holes; inspect igniter (if applicable). |
| Whistling noise | Gas flow rate too high or low; gas line obstruction. | Adjust gas flow rate slightly; ensure gas line is clear and properly sized. |
| Flame is uneven | Obstructed burner holes; uneven distribution of fire media. | Clear any debris from burner holes; redistribute fire media evenly. |
