Setup

1. Charging the Speaker

The SuperStar S100 comes with a built-in rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery. For optimal performance and battery longevity, fully charge the speaker before first use.

1. Locate the charging port on the speaker.
2. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the speaker's charging port.
3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.

2. Powering On/Off

2. To power off: Press and hold the Power button again until you hear an audible prompt or the LED indicator turns off.

Operating Instructions

1. Bluetooth Pairing

The SuperStar S100 uses Bluetooth for wireless audio streaming.

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on. It will automatically enter pairing mode if no device is connected, indicated by a blinking LED.
2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, computer), go to the Bluetooth settings.
3. Search for available devices. You should see "Monster S100" or similar in the list.
4. Select "Monster S100" to initiate pairing.
5. Once successfully paired, the speaker will provide an audible confirmation, and the LED indicator will turn solid.
6. The speaker will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when powered on, if the device is within range and Bluetooth is enabled.

2. Audio Playback

Control music playback directly from your paired device. The speaker may also feature physical buttons for basic controls.

• Volume Control: Adjust volume using your paired device's volume controls.
• Play/Pause: Press the multi-function button (often indicated by a play/pause symbol) once to play or pause audio.
• Skip Track: Double-press the multi-function button to skip to the next track. Triple-press to go to the previous track.

3. Voice Control (MonsterTalk powered by Melody)

The SuperStar S100 supports voice control features via MonsterTalk, powered by Melody. This allows for hands-free interaction with your music and device's smart assistant.

• Activate voice control by pressing the dedicated voice control button (if available) or by a specific command, as detailed in the quick start guide.
• Once activated, you can issue commands to play music, check weather, make calls, etc., through your connected device's voice assistant.

4. Speakerphone Function

When paired with a smartphone, the SuperStar S100 can be used as a speakerphone for hands-free calls.

• Answer Call: Press the multi-function button once when an incoming call is received.
• End Call: Press the multi-function button once during a call to end it.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the multi-function button for approximately 2 seconds to reject an incoming call.

5. Waterproof Rating (IPX7)

The SuperStar S100 is rated IPX7, meaning it can be submerged in water up to 1 meter (3.3 feet) for up to 30 minutes. This makes it suitable for use near pools, at the beach, or in rainy conditions.

• Ensure all port covers are securely closed before exposing the speaker to water.

• After exposure to water, wipe the speaker dry with a soft cloth before charging or opening any port covers.
