3.2. Application Steps

1. Peel Backing: Carefully peel a small section of the skin's backing paper from one edge, exposing the adhesive. Avoid touching the adhesive surface with your fingers.
2. Align and Apply: Align the exposed edge of the skin with the corresponding edge of your laptop. Once aligned, slowly press down the skin, working from the applied edge outwards.
3. Smooth Out: As you slowly peel away more of the backing paper, use a soft cloth or a plastic card to gently smooth the skin onto the laptop surface. Work in small sections, pushing out any air bubbles towards the edges.
4. Address Bubbles: If bubbles appear, gently lift the nearest edge of the skin and re-apply, smoothing it down carefully. Small bubbles may dissipate over 24-48 hours.
5. Final Press: Once the entire skin is applied, firmly press down on all areas, especially the edges, to ensure full adhesion.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues during or after application, consider the following:

• Bubbles After Application: Small air bubbles may be present immediately after application. These often dissipate on their own within 24-48 hours as the adhesive fully cures. For larger, persistent bubbles, gently lift the nearest edge of the skin and re-apply, smoothing outwards.
• Skin Not Sticking: Ensure the laptop surface was thoroughly cleaned and dry before application. Oils, dust, or residues can prevent proper adhesion. Re-clean the surface and try re-applying if possible.
• Misalignment: If the skin is misaligned, gently peel it off slowly and re-align. The adhesive allows for repositioning during initial application.
• Edges Lifting: Ensure all edges are firmly pressed down after application. If an edge lifts, press it down firmly. If the issue persists, the surface may not have been clean enough or the skin may have been stretched during application.
