4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Mounting Location

The IRD 1200 can be mounted on a wall or ceiling. Choose a location that allows for optimal heat distribution and is protected from direct wind if used outdoors. Ensure sufficient clearance from ceilings, walls, and other objects as specified in the safety instructions.

4.2 Mounting Procedure

  1. Mark the drilling points for the mounting brackets on the desired wall or ceiling surface.
  2. Drill the holes and insert appropriate wall plugs (if necessary).
  3. Attach the mounting brackets securely using the provided screws.
  4. Mount the heater onto the brackets. Ensure it is firmly seated.
  5. Adjust the angle of the heater using the pivoting mechanism on the brackets for targeted heating. The heater can be rotated up to 90 degrees.

4.3 Electrical Connection

Connect the heater to a suitable grounded power outlet. Ensure the electrical circuit can handle the 1200W power consumption of the device.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

To turn the heater on, press the power button on the side of the unit or on the remote control. Press it again to turn off. An indicator light will confirm operation.

5.2 Adjusting Heat Levels

The IRD 1200 features 3 heating levels. Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the remote control to cycle through the available heat settings. The current setting will be displayed on the LED screen.

5.3 24-Hour Timer

The integrated 24-hour timer allows you to set a specific operating duration. Refer to the remote control instructions for detailed timer programming.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning
