Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by drying. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Water Resistance: While the watch is water-resistant to 5 ATM, avoid exposing it to hot water or steam (e.g., hot showers, saunas) as this can compromise the seals. Do not press buttons underwater.
- Battery Replacement: The watch uses a Japanese MAXCELL battery. When the display dims or functions become erratic, it may be time for a battery replacement. It is recommended to have this done by a professional watch repair service to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.
- Storage: Store your watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause / Solution |
|---|---|
| Display is blank or dim. | Battery may be low or depleted. Replace the battery. |
| Buttons are unresponsive. | Ensure the watch is not exposed to extreme temperatures. If problem persists, a battery reset or replacement may be needed. |
| Time is inaccurate. | Re-set the time according to the instructions in the 'Setup' section. If inaccuracy persists, the battery may be low or the movement requires service. |
| Water inside the watch. | This indicates a breach in the water resistance. Avoid further water exposure and seek professional repair immediately to prevent damage. Ensure buttons were not pressed underwater. |
