Setup and Installation
1. Powering the Devices
- Infrared Sensor: Requires three (3) AAA batteries (not included) or can be powered via a micro USB cable (not included).
- Receiver: Requires three (3) AA batteries (not included) or can be powered via a micro USB cable (not included).
Ensure batteries are inserted with correct polarity. For USB power, connect a compatible USB power adapter (5V/1A recommended) to the micro USB port on each device.
2. Mounting the Sensor and Receiver
Both the infrared sensor and the receiver come with a mounting base. They can be placed on a flat surface or mounted to a wall using the provided screws or adhesive pad.
- Sensor Placement: Position the sensor where it can detect motion in the desired area (e.g., doorway, driveway, hallway). The sensor can be rotated 360 degrees horizontally and 180 degrees vertically for optimal coverage.
- Receiver Placement: Place the receiver in a central location within the wireless range (up to 918ft/280m in open areas) where the chime can be easily heard.

3. Pairing the Devices (DIY Pairing)
The sensor and receiver are typically pre-paired. If re-pairing is needed or if adding additional sensors/receivers, follow these steps:
- Ensure both the sensor and receiver are powered on.
- On the receiver, press and hold the "Mode switch key" (M button) until the LED indicator flashes rapidly.
- Trigger the motion sensor by waving your hand in front of it. The receiver will chime to confirm successful pairing.
- Repeat for any additional sensors or receivers.
