1. Introduction

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Speaker

  1. Connect the MicroUSB charging cable to the charging port on the SB572 speaker.
  2. Connect the other end of the MicroUSB cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging. It will turn off or change color once the speaker is fully charged.
  4. A full charge typically takes a few hours and provides up to 10 hours of playback.

4.2 Powering On/Off

  • To power on, press and hold the Power button until you hear an audible indication or see the LED indicator light up.
  • To power off, press and hold the Power button again until the indicator light turns off.

4.3 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and within 3 feet (1 meter) of your Bluetooth-enabled device.
  2. The speaker will automatically enter pairing mode, indicated by a blinking blue LED light.
  3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), go to the Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
  4. Search for available devices. Select "SB572" from the list.
  5. Once paired, the speaker will emit an audible confirmation, and the blue LED light will stop blinking and remain solid.
  6. The speaker will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when powered on, if the device's Bluetooth is active and within range.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Controls

The SB572 speaker features intuitive button controls for various functions:

  • Power Button: Press and hold to power on/off.
  • Play/Pause Button: Press once to play or pause audio.
  • Volume Up (+): Press to increase volume. Press and hold to skip to the next track.
  • Volume Down (-): Press to decrease volume. Press and hold to go to the previous track.
  • Call Button: Press to answer an incoming call. Press again to end a call. Press and hold to reject a call.

5.2 Bluetooth Audio Playback

After successful Bluetooth pairing, audio from your connected device will stream wirelessly to the SB572 speaker. Use the speaker's control buttons or your device's controls to manage playback and volume.

5.3 AUX Input Mode

To use the speaker with non-Bluetooth devices:

  1. Connect one end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX-in port on the SB572 speaker.
  2. Connect the other end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the headphone jack or audio output port of your device.
  3. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.
  4. Control playback and volume directly from your connected device.

5.4 Hands-Free Calling

When connected via Bluetooth, the SB572 can be used as a speakerphone:

  • Answering a Call: Press the Call button once.
  • Ending a Call: Press the Call button once during a call.
  • Rejecting a Call: Press and hold the Call button for 2 seconds.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Water Resistance: The speaker is water-resistant, not waterproof. Do not submerge it in water. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed when exposed to moisture.
  • Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the speaker regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.

7. Troubleshooting

Cannot pair via Bluetooth.

9.1 Limited Warranty

SoundBot provides a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects in material or workmanship under normal use. It does not cover problems caused by conditions, malfunctions, or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship.

If a product or part proves defective during the warranty period, SoundBot will repair or replace it at no charge, using new or refurbished parts. A replacement product or part assumes the remaining warranty of the original product or 1 year from the date of replacement/repair, whichever is longer.
