2. Safety Information
Please read and understand all instructions before installation and use. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or other hazards that could cause personal injury or property damage.
- WARNING: Risk of Electric Shock. Disconnect power at the circuit breaker or fuse box before installation or servicing.
- Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with all national and local electrical codes.
- Do not install if the product is damaged. Inspect before installation.
- This device is intended for indoor use only.
- Ensure the supply voltage is compatible with the sensor's operating voltage (120-277V AC).
- Requires a neutral wire for proper operation.

- Mounting Plate
- Wire Nuts
- Mounting Screws
- Instruction Manual
4. Installation
4.1 Pre-Installation
- Turn off power at the circuit breaker or fuse box before beginning installation.
- Ensure the mounting location is suitable for a ceiling-mount sensor and provides the desired coverage area. The sensor is designed for mounting up to 15 feet high.
- Carefully remove the sensor from its packaging and inspect for any damage.
4.2 Mounting the Sensor
The sensor consists of two main parts: the sensor unit and the mounting plate. The mounting plate is secured to the ceiling, and the sensor unit then twists onto the plate.

Figure 2: Back of the sensor with wiring and detachable mounting plate.
- Separate the sensor unit from the mounting plate by gently twisting the sensor counter-clockwise.
- Position the mounting plate on the ceiling where the sensor will be installed. Mark the locations for the mounting screws.
- Secure the mounting plate to the ceiling using the provided screws. Ensure it is firmly attached.
4.3 Wiring Instructions
This sensor requires a neutral wire. Follow the wiring diagram carefully.
- Connect the BLACK wire from the sensor to the LINE (HOT) wire from the electrical box.
- Connect the WHITE wire from the sensor to the NEUTRAL wire from the electrical box.
- Connect the RED wire from the sensor to the LOAD wire (to the light fixture).
- Use the provided wire nuts to secure all connections.
4.4 Final Assembly
- Once wiring is complete and secure, align the sensor unit with the mounted plate.
- Gently push the sensor unit onto the mounting plate and twist clockwise until it locks into place.
- Restore power at the circuit breaker.

5. Operation and Settings
The sensor features three adjustable dials to customize its behavior:

Figure 4: Adjustable settings dials (Time, Sense, Light).
- TIME (Time Delay): This dial adjusts how long the lights remain ON after the last detected motion. The range is typically from 15 seconds to 30 minutes. Turn the dial clockwise to increase the time delay and counter-clockwise to decrease it.
- SENSE (Sensitivity): This dial controls the sensor's sensitivity to motion. A higher sensitivity setting allows the sensor to detect smaller movements or movements at a greater distance. Adjust as needed to prevent false triggers or ensure reliable detection.
- LIGHT (Ambient Light Level): This dial determines the ambient light level at which the sensor will activate the lights. If set to a low light level, the sensor will only turn on lights when the room is dark. If set to a high light level, the sensor will activate lights regardless of ambient light. This feature helps save energy by preventing lights from turning on in already well-lit areas.

7. Troubleshooting
- Lights do not turn ON:
- Check if power is supplied to the sensor.
- Verify wiring connections are correct and secure.
- Adjust the 'LIGHT' sensitivity dial. If the ambient light is too high, the sensor may not activate.
- Increase the 'SENSE' sensitivity dial to ensure motion is being detected.
- Ensure there are no obstructions blocking the sensor's view.
- Lights stay ON too long or turn OFF too quickly:
- Adjust the 'TIME' delay dial to the desired duration.
- Ensure there is no continuous motion within the sensor's detection zone that would keep the lights activated.
- Lights turn ON unexpectedly:
- Decrease the 'SENSE' sensitivity dial to reduce detection range or sensitivity to minor movements.
- Check for heat sources (e.g., HVAC vents, direct sunlight) or moving objects (e.g., pets, curtains in a draft) within the detection area that might be causing false triggers.
