1. Important Safety Instructions

Control Panel

3. Installation

3.1 Placement

  • Place the microwave oven on a flat, stable surface that can support its weight and the heaviest food item likely to be cooked in the oven.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation. Leave a minimum of 4 inches (10 cm) of space around the sides, back, and top of the oven for proper airflow.
  • Do not place the oven near heat sources such as a range or oven.
  • Keep the oven away from strong magnetic fields.

3.2 Electrical Connection

  • This appliance operates on 120 Volts, 60 Hz. Ensure your electrical outlet matches these specifications.
  • Plug the microwave oven into a dedicated, properly grounded 3-prong outlet. Do not use an extension cord or adapter.
  • If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.

4. Operation

4.1 Basic Cooking

  1. Place food in a microwave-safe container and place it on the glass turntable. Close the oven door securely.
  2. Press the 'Time Cook' button.
  3. Use the number pad to enter the desired cooking time.
  4. Press 'Start/+30 Sec' to begin cooking.

Adjusting Power Levels

The microwave offers 10 power levels. To adjust:

  1. Enter the cooking time.
  2. Press the 'Power' button.
  3. Use the number pad to select a power level from 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest).
  4. Press 'Start/+30 Sec'.

4.2 Quick Cook Selections

The oven includes 6 quick cook selections for common food items:

  • Popcorn: For quick preparation of popcorn.
  • Potatoes: Optimized for cooking potatoes.
  • Pizza: Reheat or cook pizza slices.
  • Beverages: Heat drinks to an ideal temperature.
  • Frozen Foods: Convenient setting for various frozen meals.
  • Dinner: General setting for reheating dinner plates.

4.3 Defrosting

The microwave offers defrosting by time and by weight.

Defrost by Time:

  1. Press the 'Defrost by Time' button.
  2. Enter the desired defrosting time using the number pad.
  3. Press 'Start/+30 Sec'.

Defrost by Weight:

  1. Press the 'Defrost by Weight' button.
  2. Enter the weight of the food in pounds (or kilograms, depending on model settings) using the number pad.
  3. Press 'Start/+30 Sec'.

4.4 Memory Function

The memory function allows you to save and recall your favorite cooking settings.

  1. Set your desired cooking time and power level.
  2. Press the 'Memory' button.
  3. To recall, simply press 'Memory' and then 'Start/+30 Sec'.

4.5 Eco Technology

This microwave features Eco technology, which automatically turns off the display when not in use. This helps to conserve energy and reduce electricity consumption.

4.6 Child Lock

To prevent unintended operation, the microwave includes a child lock feature.

  • To Activate: Press and hold the 'Pause/Cancel' button for 3 seconds until a lock indicator appears on the display.
  • To Deactivate: Press and hold the 'Pause/Cancel' button for 3 seconds until the lock indicator disappears.

5. Care and Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Interior

  • Always unplug the microwave before cleaning.
  • Wipe the interior cavity with a damp cloth after each use to prevent food buildup.
  • For stubborn stains, place a bowl of water with lemon slices inside and microwave for 2-3 minutes. The steam will loosen the grime, making it easier to wipe away.
  • The glass turntable can be removed and washed with mild soap and water or in a dishwasher.

5.2 Cleaning the Exterior

  • Clean the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  • Wipe the door and control panel gently to avoid scratching the mirror finish or damaging the buttons.
