3. Setup and Assembly

3.1 Main Unit and Mixing Bowl

  1. Place the motor unit on a stable, flat, and dry surface.
  2. Ensure the appliance is unplugged.
  3. Lift the multifunctional arm by pressing the unlock mechanism.
  4. Place the stainless steel mixing bowl into its designated slot on the base and turn it clockwise until it locks securely.
  5. Attach the desired mixing tool (dough hook, beater, or whisk) by pushing it upwards into the attachment shaft and turning it counter-clockwise until it clicks into place.
  6. Lower the multifunctional arm until it locks.
  7. Place the splash guard over the mixing bowl.

3.2 Blender Attachment

  1. Ensure the appliance is unplugged.
  2. Place the glass blender jar onto the designated opening on top of the motor unit and turn it clockwise until it locks.
  3. Ensure the lid is securely placed on the blender jar.

3.3 Meat Grinder Attachment

  1. Ensure the appliance is unplugged.
  2. Attach the meat grinder unit to the front port of the motor unit and secure it by turning the locking ring.
  3. Insert the metal screw, blade, and desired perforated disc into the grinder housing.
  4. Place the metal refill tray on top of the grinder.

3.4 Pasta Maker Attachment

  1. Ensure the appliance is unplugged.
  2. Attach the pasta maker accessory to the front port of the meat grinder unit (after assembling the meat grinder).
  3. Select the desired pasta disc (spaghetti, macaroni, or tagliatelle) and insert it into the pasta maker attachment.

4. Operating Instructions

The Bomann KM 1395 CB features 10 adjustable speed levels, a Turbo function, and an electronic timer for precise control.

4.1 Basic Operation (Mixing/Kneading/Whipping)

  1. Ensure the appliance is properly assembled with the desired mixing tool and ingredients in the bowl.
  2. Plug the appliance into a suitable power outlet.
  3. Use the speed dial to select a speed from 1 to 10. Start with a lower speed for slow mixing (soft start) and gradually increase as needed.
  4. The LCD display will show the current speed and timer.
  5. To use the electronic timer, press the timer button and adjust the time using the '+' and '-' buttons. The machine will operate for the set duration.
  6. For short bursts of maximum power, use the Turbo function (if available, typically marked 'P' or 'Pulse').
  7. When finished, turn the speed dial to '0' and unplug the appliance.
  8. Lift the multifunctional arm to remove the mixing tool and bowl.

  1. Ensure the blender jar is securely attached and the lid is on.
