2. Safety Instructions

4. Setup and Installation
The AEG WKL 2505 convector heater is designed for quick and easy wall mounting.
4.1 Wall Mounting
- Select Location: Choose a suitable wall location, ensuring sufficient clearance from furniture, curtains, and other flammable materials. Refer to the dimensions diagram for planning.
- Attach Wall Bracket: Securely attach the provided wall mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate fasteners for your wall type. Ensure the bracket is level.
- Hang the Heater: Carefully lift the convector heater and hang it onto the installed wall bracket. Ensure it is securely seated.
- Adjust as Needed: Make any final adjustments to ensure the heater is properly aligned and stable.

4.2 Electrical Connection
The heater comes with an approximately 1-meter long connection cable with an angled plug.
- Plug the angled plug into a suitable wall socket. Ensure the socket is easily accessible.
- Do not use extension cords or multi-plugs unless absolutely necessary and rated for the heater's power consumption.

5. Operating Instructions
The AEG WKL 2505 features an intuitive electronic controller with an LCD display for easy operation.
5.1 Power On/Off
Press the power button on the control panel to switch the heater on or off.
5.2 Temperature Setting
Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the desired room temperature. The temperature can be set between 5°C and 30°C. The LCD display will show the set temperature.
5.3 Weekly Timer

- Automatic Preheating: In timer mode, the heater automatically calculates the necessary preheating time to reach the desired temperature at the programmed time.
5.4 Special Functions
- Anti-freeze Function: This function maintains a minimum temperature (typically 5°C) to prevent pipes from freezing in unoccupied rooms.
- Open Window Detection: The heater can detect a sudden drop in temperature caused by an open window and will temporarily switch off to save energy. It will resume operation once the window is closed or after a set period.

6. Maintenance
