4. Setup Guide

4.1. Download the App

The Amysen Smart Plug operates with the Cloud Intelligence App. Download the app from your device's app store:

4.2. Connect to Wi-Fi Network

The Amysen Smart Plug requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network for connection. It does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi networks.

  1. Plug the Amysen Smart Plug into a standard electrical outlet.
  2. Open the Cloud Intelligence App and register or log in to your account.
  3. Tap the "+" icon in the top right corner of the app to add a device.
  4. Select "Electrical Outlet" or "Smart Plug" from the device list.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the smart plug to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. This typically involves putting the plug into pairing mode (often by pressing and holding the power button until the indicator light blinks rapidly) and entering your Wi-Fi password in the app.
  6. Once connected, you can rename the device for easier identification (e.g., "Living Room Lamp").

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. App Remote Control

After successful setup, you can control your smart plug from anywhere with an internet connection using the Cloud Intelligence App.

  • Open the app and select the desired smart plug from your device list.
  • Tap the power icon to turn the connected appliance ON or OFF.
  • Monitor the status of your devices in real-time.

5.2. Voice Control (Alexa/Google Home)

Integrate your Amysen Smart Plug with Amazon Alexa or Google Home Assistant for convenient voice control.

  1. Ensure your Alexa or Google Home device is set up and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your smart plug.
  2. Open the Alexa or Google Home app.
  3. Enable the "Cloud Intelligence" skill (for Alexa) or link the "Cloud Intelligence" service (for Google Home).
  4. Discover devices. Your smart plug should appear.
  5. Use voice commands such as:
    • "Alexa, turn on [Device Name]"
    • "Hey Google, turn off [Device Name]"

Automate your devices by setting schedules and timers within the Cloud Intelligence App.

  • Timer: Set a countdown timer for the smart plug to turn ON or OFF after a specified duration.

5.4. Group Control & Device Sharing

Manage multiple smart plugs efficiently and share control with family members.

  • Group Control: In the app, create groups for multiple smart plugs (e.g., "All Living Room Lights") to control them simultaneously with a single command.
  • Device Sharing: Share access to your smart plugs with other Cloud Intelligence App users. This allows family members to control the devices from their own accounts.

6. Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Amysen Smart Plug:

  • Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.

  • Avoid placing the smart plug in areas with high humidity or direct sunlight.

7. Troubleshooting
