- MENU Button: Accesses the main menu for settings.
- MODE Button: Switches between recording, playback, and settings modes.
- OK Button: Confirms selections or starts/stops manual recording.

1. Continuous Recording
Once powered on, the DRY-ST1000P automatically begins continuous loop recording. Footage is saved in segments (e.g., 1, 3, or 5 minutes) and older files are overwritten when the microSD card is full, unless protected by impact detection.
2. Manual Recording
To manually start or stop recording a specific event, press the OK button during continuous recording. This will save the current segment and prevent it from being overwritten.
3. Impact Detection Recording (G-Sensor)
The built-in G-Sensor detects sudden impacts or rapid acceleration/deceleration. When an impact is detected, the device automatically saves the current recording segment and locks it to prevent overwriting. The sensitivity of the G-Sensor can be adjusted in the settings menu.
4. Parking Surveillance (Optional)
If you have installed the optional parking surveillance kit, the device can monitor your vehicle for impacts or motion while parked. Refer to the optional kit's manual for specific setup and operation details.
5. Playback on Device
- Press the MODE button to switch to playback mode.
- Use the Up/Down Arrows to navigate through recorded files.
- Press the OK button to play a selected video.
- Press the MODE button again to exit playback mode.
Maintenance
1. MicroSD Card Formatting
It is recommended to format the microSD card regularly (e.g., once a month) to maintain optimal recording performance and prevent data corruption. Formatting will erase all data on the card, so back up any important files beforehand.
- Access the main menu using the MENU button.
- Navigate to the "Format" or "SD Card Management" option.
- Select "Format SD Card" and confirm the action.
2. Cleaning the Device
Wipe the device's exterior and lens with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the device. Ensure the lens is clean for clear video recording.
