Front Panel Controls:

5. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your DMX LED Color Chief Controller:

1. Power Connection: Connect the provided power adapter to the DC 9-12V input on the rear panel of the controller. Plug the adapter into a suitable power outlet.
2. DMX Connection: Connect a 3-pin DMX cable from the DMX OUT port on the controller to the DMX IN port of your first DMX lighting fixture. Daisy-chain additional DMX fixtures by connecting the DMX OUT of the first fixture to the DMX IN of the next, and so on. Ensure the last fixture in the chain has a DMX terminator if recommended by the fixture manufacturer.
3. Fixture Addressing: Before operation, ensure all your DMX lighting fixtures are correctly addressed according to their respective manuals. The controller can manage up to 240 DMX channels.
4. Power On: Flip the POWER ON/OFF switch on the rear panel to the "ON" position. The LCD screen should illuminate.

• Creating a Scene:
  1. Set your desired lighting parameters using the knobs and faders.
  2. Press the Store button.
  3. Select one of the Chase/Scene buttons (1-24) to save your scene to that location.
• Activating a Scene: Press the corresponding Chase/Scene button (1-24) to recall a saved scene.
• Creating a Chase (Sequence of Scenes):
  1. Enter Chase programming mode (refer to the LCD screen and navigation buttons for specific steps).
  2. Add saved scenes as steps to your chase.
  3. Save the chase.
• Activating a Chase: Select the desired chase using the Chase/Scene buttons.
• Use the Fade Time and Chase Speed faders to adjust the transition time between steps and the overall speed of the chase.

6.6. Music Mode

• Press the Music button to activate sound-to-light functionality. The built-in microphone will detect audio.
• Adjust the Sensitivity Knob to fine-tune the microphone's response to ambient sound or external audio input.

6.7. LCD Screen and Navigation
