3. Setup

3.1. Unboxing and Assembly

The generator comes with minimal assembly required. Carefully remove all packaging materials. The package includes a remote start key fob, 12V battery charger, engine oil, an oil funnel, a tool kit, and a user's manual.

3.2. Wheel and Handle Assembly

Attach the never-flat wheels and foam grip handle to the hardened-steel frame. The wheels are designed for easy installation, often without specialized tools, and the handle facilitates transport.

3.3. Adding Engine Oil

The engine is shipped without oil. Before starting, add the provided 4-stroke engine oil using the oil funnel. Ensure the oil level is correct by checking the dipstick. Refer to the user manual for specific oil capacity and type.

3.4. Battery Connection

Connect the 12V battery using the quick-connect terminals. Ensure proper polarity (red to positive, black to negative). The generator includes a battery charger to maintain the battery's charge.

3.5. Fuel Connection (Gasoline or Propane)

The WGen7500DF operates on either gasoline or propane. For gasoline, fill the 6.6-gallon fuel tank. For propane, connect the provided propane hose to a standard LPG tank and to the generator's propane inlet.

The generator features a push-button electric start. Simply press the "Engine Start/Stop" button to begin operation. For added convenience, a wireless remote key fob is included, allowing you to start or stop the generator from a distance.

4.4. Connecting Appliances and Transfer Switch

The control panel includes two GFCI 5-20R 120V household duplex outlets and one L14-30R 120/240V 30A twist-lock outlet, all with rubber covers for safety. The L14-30R outlet is Transfer Switch Ready, allowing direct connection to your home's electrical system for whole-house power (transfer switch sold separately and professional installation recommended).

4.5. CO Sensor

The generator is equipped with a CO (Carbon Monoxide) sensor for safety. If carbon monoxide levels become unsafe, the generator will automatically shut down. Always ensure proper ventilation.
