2. Pairing the Remote to Your DIRECTV Genie Receiver (RF Mode)

ADVANCEAdvances 30 seconds. Press and hold to jump ahead to the end of a recorded program.
FAST-FORWARDFast-forwards at increasing speeds—press up to four times.
ENTER (Input)Press for Mini Guide while viewing your program and dismiss with EXIT. ENTER also replaces TV INPUT button: to cycle through the equipment connected to your TV, press and hold for three seconds until LED light at top turns green. Then scroll through inputs by pressing ENTER again.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement

When the remote's performance degrades or the green light no longer blinks during operation, it's time to replace the batteries. Always use two new AA batteries for optimal performance.

  1. Remove the battery compartment cover as described in the Setup section.
  2. Remove the old batteries.
