3.3 Electrical Connection

This unit operates on 120 Volt, 1460 Watt power. Ensure the electrical supply meets these requirements and is installed by a qualified electrician in compliance with all local codes. The unit is corded electric.

4.1 Powering On/Off

Use only pure, distilled water to prevent mineral deposits that can affect performance. If the optional plumbed water kit is installed, the unit will automatically draw water.

4.5 Remote Control

The included remote control allows for convenient adjustment of power, flame effect, and heat settings from a distance.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

• Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sprays.
• Water Reservoir: Periodically clean the water reservoir to prevent mineral buildup. Remove the reservoir, empty any remaining water, and rinse thoroughly. For stubborn deposits, use a mild descaling solution as recommended by Dimplex.
