3. Setup

3.1. Battery Installation

Your Untamed Raptor comes with 4 LR44 batteries pre-installed. If replacement is necessary, follow these steps:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the raptor.
2. Using a small Phillips head screwdriver (not included), unscrew the battery compartment cover.
3. Remove the old LR44 batteries.
4. Insert 4 new LR44 batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
5. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.

Warning: Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. Dispose of used batteries responsibly.

4.1. Power On/Off

The Untamed Raptor typically activates upon interaction. To conserve battery life, it will enter a sleep mode after a period of inactivity. To wake it up, simply interact with it (e.g., tap its head).

4.2. Tamed Mode

To calm your raptor into Tamed Mode, gently pet its head. Start at the tip of its nose and stroke towards the back of its head. In this mode, it will nuzzle, purr, and exhibit more affectionate sounds and movements.

4.3. Untamed Mode

To unleash its wild side, tap its nose or head. The raptor will respond with warning calls, hisses, growls, and roars. Shaking the raptor can also trigger more aggressive reactions.

• Roar Attack: Press and hold the back of its head for a full-on roar attack.
• Raptor Snooze: Lay the raptor down in your hands for a quick rest. It may make soft sleeping sounds.
