2. Safety Information
To ensure safe operation and prevent damage to your device, please read and adhere to the following safety guidelines:
- Waterproof Case: Always ensure the waterproof case is properly sealed and free of debris before submerging the camera in water. Test the case without the camera first.
- Battery Safety: Use only the specified battery type. Do not expose batteries to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or fire. Do not short-circuit or disassemble the battery.
- Temperature: Operate the camera within recommended temperature ranges. Avoid extreme hot or cold environments.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning. Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents. For the waterproof case, rinse with fresh water after saltwater use and allow to air dry.
- Storage: Store the camera and accessories in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
- Disposal: Dispose of the camera and battery according to local regulations. Do not dispose of electronic waste in general household trash.
3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation and Charging
- Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the camera.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the provided 900 mAh lithium battery, ensuring the contacts align correctly.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
- Connect the camera to a USB power source using the supplied USB cable to fully charge the battery before first use. The charging indicator will typically show the charging status.
3.2 Micro SD Card Installation
The camera requires a Micro SD card (not included) for storing photos and videos. A minimum of U3 Class 10 speed rating is recommended for optimal performance, with support for cards up to 64GB.
- Locate the Micro SD card slot on the side of the camera.
- Gently insert the Micro SD card into the slot with the contacts facing the correct direction (refer to the camera's markings). Push until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently push the card again until it springs out.
3.3 Attaching the Waterproof Case and Mounts
The waterproof case protects your camera from water, dust, and impacts. Various mounts are included for different activities.
- Open the waterproof case by releasing the top latch.
- Carefully place the GoXtreme Enduro Black camera inside the case, ensuring it fits snugly.
- Close the case and firmly press down the top latch until it clicks, ensuring a watertight seal.
- Attach the desired mount (e.g., helmet mount, bike mount, tripod adapter) to the bottom of the waterproof case using the provided screws and accessories. Ensure all connections are secure before use.

4. Operating the Camera
4.1 Powering On/Off and Mode Selection

- Power On: Press and hold the Power/Mode button (usually on the front or top) for a few seconds until the screen turns on.

- Change Mode: Briefly press the Power/Mode button to cycle through different modes (e.g., Video, Photo, Playback, Settings). The current mode will be displayed on the 2-inch screen.
4.2 Recording Videos
The camera supports various video resolutions:
- 4K Ultra HD @ 30fps (interpolated)

- Switch to Video Mode using the Power/Mode button.
- Press the Shutter/OK button (usually on top) to start recording. A red indicator light will typically flash, and a timer will appear on the screen.
- Press the Shutter/OK button again to stop recording.
4.3 Taking Photos

- Switch to Photo Mode using the Power/Mode button.

4.4 Wi-Fi Connection and App Control
The GoXtreme Enduro Black features built-in Wi-Fi, allowing you to connect to your smartphone or tablet for remote control and live view. Compatible with iOS 7.0 and above, and Android 4.1 and above.
- Download the official GoXtreme app from the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android).
- On the camera, navigate to the Wi-Fi settings (usually found in the main settings menu or by a dedicated Wi-Fi button/mode). Enable Wi-Fi.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Camera and Case
- Camera Body: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the camera body. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid using alcohol or chemical cleaners.
- Lens: Use a lens cleaning cloth or a lens brush to gently remove dust. For smudges, use a specialized lens cleaning solution and cloth.
- Waterproof Case: After use, especially in saltwater, rinse the case thoroughly with fresh water. Allow it to air dry completely before storing. Ensure the rubber seal is clean and free of sand or debris to maintain its waterproof integrity.

- Charge the battery fully before each use for optimal performance.
