Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

The tools are activated by pressing the trigger. Release the trigger to turn the tool off. The variable speed trigger allows for precise control over the tool's speed.

2. Speed/Torque Selection (Hammer Drill)

The M12 FUEL Hammer Drill (2504-20) features a 2-speed gearbox. Use speed 1 for higher torque applications and speed 2 for higher speed applications. The clutch settings (1-18) allow you to adjust the torque for driving screws, preventing over-tightening or stripping.

3. Mode Selection (Hammer Drill)

The Hammer Drill (2504-20) has three modes: drilling, hammer drilling, and driving. Rotate the collar near the chuck to select the desired mode. The hammer drill mode is suitable for masonry and concrete, while the drill mode is for wood and metal, and the driving mode for fasteners.

4. Drive Control (Impact Driver)

The M12 FUEL Impact Driver (2553-20) features a 4-mode DRIVE CONTROL. This allows the user to shift into different speed and torque settings for versatility. Mode 4 is a self-tapping screw mode, which drives at full RPM until impact, then slows down for better control, preventing over-driving.

5. LED Light Functionality

Both tools are equipped with an LED light that illuminates the work area when the trigger is pressed. The impact driver features three LED lights around the chuck for enhanced visibility.

6. Belt Clip Usage

Both tools include a reversible belt clip for convenient carrying. Attach the tool to your belt or tool pouch for easy access during work.
