Installation

Mounting the Unit

The INF-BC4 is designed for simple installation, fitting into a 1-3/8 inch (approximately 35mm) hole. Choose a flat, secure surface for mounting.

1. Select a suitable mounting location that is flat and provides sufficient clearance behind the panel for wiring.
2. Drill a 1-3/8 inch (35mm) diameter hole at the chosen location.
3. Insert the INF-BC4 into the drilled hole from the front of the panel.
4. Secure the unit from the rear using the supplied mounting nut, tightening it until the unit is firmly in place.

Wiring Connections

The INF-BC4 requires an external amplifier for audio output. Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated.

• Red Wire (+12V ACC): Connect to a switched +12V accessory power source. This allows the unit to turn on and off with your vehicle's ignition.
• Yellow Wire (+12V Constant): Connect to a constant +12V power source. This maintains settings and memory.
• Black Wire (Ground): Connect to a reliable chassis ground point.
• Blue Wire (Remote Out): Connect to the remote turn-on input of your external amplifier. This will turn on the amplifier when the INF-BC4 is powered on.

Operation

Powering On/Off

• To power on the unit, press the PWR button. The unit will automatically connect to the last paired device if it's within range.
• To power off the unit, press and hold the PWR button for approximately 3 seconds.

Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the INF-BC4 is powered on.
2. On your mobile device, navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
3. Search for available devices. The INF-BC4 will appear as "Infinity BC4" or similar.
4. Select the INF-BC4 to initiate pairing. Once paired, a confirmation tone may sound, and the device name will show as connected.

Note: Only one Bluetooth device can be connected at a time. To connect a new device, disconnect the currently paired device from its Bluetooth settings.

Audio Control

• Volume Control: Rotate the central knob clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease volume.
• Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button to toggle playback.
• Track Skip: Press the Track Forward button to skip to the next track. Press the Track Backward button to go to the beginning of the current track or the previous track.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the surface of the unit. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Water Resistance: The unit is IPx6 water resistant, meaning it can withstand powerful water jets. However, it is not designed for submersion. Ensure all connections are properly sealed during installation to maintain water resistance.
• Connections: Periodically check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion.
