7. Troubleshooting
Refer to this section for common issues and their solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Machine does not power on. | No power, loose connection, blown fuse. | Check power outlet and connections. Inspect the fuse (if accessible) and replace if blown. |
| Temperature reading is inaccurate or fluctuates. | Faulty thermostat/sensor, external temperature interference. | Allow machine to stabilize. If issue persists, contact customer support. Consider using an IR thermometer for verification. |
| Transfers are not adhering properly. | Incorrect temperature, insufficient time, inadequate pressure, wrong material. | Verify temperature and time settings according to transfer material instructions. Adjust pressure knob for firmer press. Ensure material is suitable for heat transfer. |
| Machine makes unusual noises (e.g., clicking). | Loose components, internal malfunction. | Check for any loose parts. If the noise is persistent or accompanied by other issues (e.g., flickering lights, strange smell), discontinue use and contact customer support. |
| Platen is wobbly or unstable. | Loose screws or bolts in the base or pivot. | Tighten all visible screws and bolts on the base and swing mechanism. |
