Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the radio.
- Open the compartment cover.
- Insert the provided 18650 rechargeable battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the battery.
- Connect the supplied USB Type-C charging cable to the DC-IN 5V port on the side of the radio.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
- The charging indicator on the display will show charging status. Charging is complete when the indicator shows full.

- Auto Scan Tuning (ATS): Press and hold the FM/AM/SW/AIR AUTO PRESET button (often labeled ATS or similar) to automatically scan and store available stations.
4. Memory Stations
The radio can store up to 500 stations. To save a station:
- Tune to the desired station.
- Press the MEMO button.
- Use the numeric keypad or tuning knob to select a memory location.
- Press MEMO again to confirm.
To recall a stored station, press the PAGE button and then use the numeric keypad or tuning knob to select the memory page/number.
5. Alarm Clock and Sleep Timer
The D-808 includes an alarm clock and a sleep timer function.
