Safety Information

Speaker Components:

Setup

1. Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge your Tzumi Studio Series Speaker. The speaker features LED battery monitor lights.

1. Connect the Micro-USB charging cable to the speaker's Micro-USB port.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
3. The LED indicator lights will show charging status. Once fully charged, the lights will indicate completion.
4. A full charge provides up to 2.5 hours of play time.

2. Bluetooth Pairing

Pair your speaker with a Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, laptop) to play audio wirelessly.

1. Ensure the speaker is charged.
2. Press and hold the Power button on the speaker to turn it on. The LED indicator will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
3. On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
4. Search for available devices. The speaker will appear as "Tzumi Studio Speaker" or similar.
5. Select the speaker from the list to connect. Once paired, the LED indicator will stop flashing and remain solid, and you may hear a confirmation tone.
6. The speaker has a Bluetooth range of up to 33 feet (10 meters).

Operating the Speaker

Power On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the Power button until the LED indicator lights up.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until the LED indicator turns off.

Music Playback

• Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button once.
• Next Track: Press and hold the Volume Up (+) button.
• Previous Track: Press and hold the Volume Down (-) button.
• Volume Up: Short press the Volume Up (+) button.
• Volume Down: Short press the Volume Down (-) button.

Hands-Free Calling

The speaker's built-in HD microphone allows for hands-free phone calls when connected to your smartphone.

• Answer Call: Press the Play/Pause/Call button once when a call comes in.
• End Call: Press the Play/Pause/Call button once during a call.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the Play/Pause/Call button when a call comes in.
• Redial Last Number: Double-press the Play/Pause/Call button.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents.
• Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Water Resistance: While IPX5 waterproof, avoid submerging the speaker. Always ensure the Micro-USB port cover is sealed tightly to prevent water ingress.
