Setup

1. Battery Charging

  1. Connect the LiPo battery to the provided USB charger.
  2. Plug the USB charger into a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
  3. The charging indicator light on the USB charger will illuminate during charging and turn off when the battery is fully charged.
  4. Charging typically takes 50 to 60 minutes for approximately 7 minutes of flight time.

2. Remote Control Preparation

  • Install 4x AA batteries (not included) into the remote control, observing correct polarity.
  • Ensure the remote control is switched off before proceeding.

3. Drone Preparation

  1. Carefully insert the fully charged LiPo battery into the battery compartment of the quadrocopter.
  2. Connect the battery cable to the drone's power port.
  3. Place the quadrocopter on a flat, level surface.

Operating Instructions

1. Pairing the Quadrocopter and Remote Control

  1. Turn on the quadrocopter. The LED lights will flash.
  2. Turn on the remote control.
  3. Move the left joystick (throttle) all the way up, then all the way down. The drone's LED lights will stop flashing and remain solid, indicating successful pairing.

2. Take-off and Basic Flight

  • Take-off: Gently push the left joystick (throttle) upwards to increase propeller speed and lift off.
  • Ascend/Descend: Use the left joystick (throttle) to control altitude.
  • Forward/Backward: Push the right joystick forward or backward.
  • Left/Right: Push the right joystick left or right to move sideways.
  • Rotation: Push the left joystick left or right to rotate the quadrocopter.

3. Special Functions

  • Headless Mode: Press the Headless Mode button. In this mode, the drone's orientation relative to the pilot is fixed, regardless of which way the drone is facing. This simplifies control for beginners.
  • Looping Function: Press the Looping button, then quickly move the right joystick in the desired direction (forward, backward, left, or right) to perform a 360-degree flip.
  • Adjustable Responsiveness: The remote control allows for adjusting the drone's responsiveness (speed/sensitivity) to suit different skill levels. Refer to the remote control diagram for specific buttons.
