1.2 Attaching Tree Sections

  1. Insert the bottom section of the tree into the assembled tree stand. Align the pole with the opening.
  2. Tighten the triangular bolts to secure the base of the tree.
  3. Allow the branches to fall or gently lower them into position.
  4. Connect the middle section to the bottom section. For trees 9 feet and taller, there may be an additional section before the top piece.
  5. Connect the top section to the middle section (or the additional section).

1.3 Connecting Lights

Before fully assembling, it is recommended to plug in each section to ensure all lights are working. Connect the plugs and outlets from each tree section as you assemble them.

1.4 Fluffing and Shaping Branches

To achieve a full and lifelike appearance, you will need to shape or 'fluff' the tree's branches. Work from the inside of the tree outwards, lifting each tip away from the center branch into a 'V' shape. The metal core of the branches allows for easy bending and shaping. Continue this process for all sections, ensuring seamless transitions between them and filling any gaps.

2. Operating

2.1 Powering On/Off

Once fully assembled and fluffed, plug the tree's main power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The multicolor lights will illuminate. To turn off, simply unplug the tree from the outlet.

2.2 Light Functionality

This tree features pre-lit multicolor lights. No additional light string setup is required. Ensure all sections are properly connected for full illumination.

3. Maintenance

3.1 Cleaning

To clean the tree, gently dust the branches with a soft cloth or use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment on a low setting. Do not use liquid cleaners or immerse any part of the tree in water.

3.2 Bulb Replacement

The tree comes with replacement bulbs. If a bulb burns out, carefully remove the old bulb and insert a new one of the same type and wattage. Refer to the small bag of spare bulbs for instructions on how to replace them.

3.3 Fuse Replacement

The tree also includes spare fuses. If an entire section of lights goes out, check the fuse in the plug. Unplug the tree, open the fuse compartment, and replace the fuse with a new one of the correct rating. Always ensure the tree is unplugged before attempting fuse replacement.

3.4 Storage

When storing the tree, disassemble it in reverse order of setup. Gently compress the branches and store the sections in their original box or a dedicated tree storage bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

4. Troubleshooting

  • Lights Not Working: Check all electrical connections between tree sections and ensure the main plug is securely inserted into a working outlet. Inspect individual bulbs for damage and replace any burnt-out bulbs. If an entire section is dark, check and replace the fuse in the plug.
  • Tree Not Stable: Ensure the tree stand legs are fully extended and the triangular bolts are securely tightened against the tree pole. Place the tree on a flat, level surface.
  • Gaps in Foliage: Re-fluff and shape the branches, especially after storage. Bend individual tips outwards and upwards to fill any visible gaps and create a dense appearance.
