2. Safety Information
WARNING: To avoid electric shock, always disconnect power at the fuse box or circuit breaker before installation, servicing, or changing bulbs. This product must be installed in accordance with the applicable installation code by a person familiar with the construction and operation of the product and the hazards involved.
- Ensure the electrical supply is suitable for the fixture (230V).
- This fixture is rated IP44, providing protection against solid objects over 1mm and splashing water from any direction. It is suitable for outdoor use.
- Do not exceed the maximum wattage specified for the bulbs (3 x 60W E27).
- Handle glass components with care to prevent breakage.
- Keep packaging materials out of reach of children.
- If you are unsure about any part of the installation, consult a qualified electrician.
3. Package Contents
Verify that all components are present and undamaged before beginning installation.

4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation. It is recommended to have two people for assembly and installation due to the height and weight of the fixture.
- Prepare the Installation Site:
- Ensure the mounting surface is stable and level, capable of supporting the weight of the post light.
- Turn off the main power supply at the circuit breaker before starting any electrical work.
- Ensure the electrical cable is properly routed and protected for outdoor use.
- Assemble the Post:
- Connect the pole sections together, ensuring they are securely fastened. The design allows for modular assembly to achieve the desired height.
- Carefully thread the electrical wires through the pole sections as you assemble them.
- Mount the Base:

- Position the base of the post light on the desired mounting surface.
- Mark the locations for drilling holes through the base's mounting points.
- Drill appropriate holes and insert anchors if necessary, depending on the surface material.
- Secure the base firmly to the surface using the provided mounting screws.
- Connect Electrical Wiring:

- Carefully connect the main electrical supply wires to the terminal block inside the base.
- Connect the live (L), neutral (N), and earth (ground) wires according to local electrical codes. Ensure all connections are tight and secure.
- Ensure the wiring from the lamp head assembly is also securely connected to the terminal block.
- Attach the Lamp Head Assembly:

- Attach the three-lamp head assembly to the top of the assembled pole. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Install three E27 bulbs (not included) into the sockets. Do not exceed 60W per bulb.
- Install Glass Globes:

- Carefully place each glass globe over its respective bulb and secure it according to the fixture's design (e.g., by twisting or using retaining clips).
- Final Check:
- Double-check all connections and ensure all components are securely assembled.
- Restore power at the circuit breaker and test the light.

5. Operating Instructions
The Lindby Eddie Outdoor Post Light operates by a standard electrical switch connected to its power supply. Once installed and wired correctly, simply turn on the connected switch to illuminate the fixture.
- Bulb Type: Uses 3 x E27 bulbs.
- Maximum Wattage: Do not exceed 60W per bulb.
- Dimmable: This fixture is dimmable, provided you use dimmable E27 bulbs and connect it to a compatible dimmer switch (not included).
6. Maintenance

- Cleaning:
- Before cleaning, ensure the power is turned off at the circuit breaker.

- Bulb Replacement:

- Allow bulbs to cool completely before touching them.
- Carefully remove the glass globe.
- Unscrew the old E27 bulb and screw in a new one, ensuring it does not exceed 60W.
- Reattach the glass globe securely.
- Restore power and test.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the wiring and connections for any signs of wear or damage. Ensure all mounting screws remain tight.
