3. Installation and Setup

3.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the hob from its packaging. Inspect for any damage. Retain packaging for transport if needed.

3.2 Mounting Dimensions

The appliance is designed for built-in installation.

3.3 Electrical Connection

Ensure the electrical supply matches the requirements of the hob. The connection cable length is 130 cm.

The appliance must be connected to the mains supply by means of an all-pole disconnection switch with a contact opening of at least 3 mm.

4. Operating Instructions

The hob features touch controls for easy operation.

4.1 Powering On/Off

Press the main power button to switch the hob on or off. An indicator light will confirm the status.

4.2 Selecting a Cooking Zone

Place suitable cookware on the desired cooking zone. Touch the corresponding zone selection button.

4.3 Adjusting Power Levels

Use the '+' and '-' touch controls or slide control (if available) to adjust the power level for the selected zone. The power level will be displayed.

4.4 Using the Timer

Each cooking zone has an electronic timer, adjustable up to 99 minutes. To set the timer:

  1. Select the desired cooking zone.
  2. Press the timer button.
  3. Use the '+' and '-' controls to set the desired cooking time.
  4. The timer will count down and switch off the zone automatically when finished.

4.5 Central Locking

Activate the central locking function by pressing the lock button. This prevents accidental changes to settings or activation of the hob. Deactivate by pressing the lock button again.
