Setup

1. Package Contents

Before you begin, ensure all components are present in the package:

  • Binatone Blade Flip Phone
  • Battery
  • Charger
  • Headset
  • User Manual (this document)

2. Battery Installation

  1. Open the back cover of the phone by gently prying it from the notch usually located at the bottom edge.
  2. Align the battery contacts with the terminals inside the phone.
  3. Gently press the battery into place until it clicks securely.
  4. Replace the back cover, ensuring it snaps firmly into position.

3. SIM Card Installation

The Binatone Blade supports dual SIM cards.

  1. With the back cover and battery removed, locate the SIM card slots.
  2. Insert your SIM card(s) into the designated slot(s) with the gold contacts facing down, following the orientation indicated on the phone.
  3. Ensure the SIM card(s) are fully seated.
  4. Reinstall the battery and back cover.

4. Charging the Battery

For optimal performance, fully charge the battery before first use.

  1. Connect the charger cable to the charging port on the side of the phone.
  2. Plug the charger into a power outlet.
  3. The charging indicator on the phone will show the charging status.
  4. Once fully charged, disconnect the charger.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power/End Call button (red button) until the screen lights up.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power/End Call button until the power-off options appear, then select "Power off".

2. Basic Navigation

Use the navigation pad (up, down, left, right) and the central "Select" button to navigate through menus and confirm selections. The "Back" button returns to the previous screen.

3. External Display

The external display shows essential information when the phone is closed, such as incoming call notifications, messages, and time.

4. Side Buttons

5. Making and Receiving Calls

  • Making a Call: Enter the phone number using the keypad and press the Call button (green button).
  • Receiving a Call: When the phone rings, press the Call button to answer.
  • Ending a Call: Press the Power/End Call button.

6. Sending and Receiving SMS

  • Navigate to the "Message" menu.
  • Select "Write message" to compose a new SMS.
  • Enter the recipient's number and your message.
  • Select "Send".
  • Incoming messages will appear in the "Inbox".

7. Camera Usage

The phone features a basic camera for capturing moments.

  • From the main menu, select "Camera".
  • Frame your shot using the screen.
  • Press the "Select" button to take a photo.
  • Photos are saved to the phone's memory.

8. Bluetooth Connectivity

Connect to Bluetooth headsets or other compatible devices.
