5. Installation

5.1 Pre-Installation Check

Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and free from obstructions.
Confirm that the vehicle's electrical system is 12V DC.
Gather necessary tools: drill, screwdriver, wire strippers, crimpers, electrical tape or heat shrink tubing.

5.2 Mounting Instructions

Position the light on the desired surface. Ensure the arrow pattern is oriented correctly for the intended signal direction.
Mark the locations for the four mounting screws.
Drill pilot holes if necessary, ensuring they are appropriately sized for the provided screws.
Secure the light to the surface using the provided mounting screws. Do not overtighten.

5.3 Wiring Diagram and Connections

The TMH LED Tail Lights feature a 3-wire connection system for dual-functionality (low brightness for tail light, high brightness for brake/turn signal).

White Wire: High Brightness (Brake Light / Turn Signal) (+)

Connect the Black wire from the light to the vehicle's chassis ground or negative (-) terminal.
Connect the Red wire from the light to the vehicle's tail light or running light positive (+) circuit. This will activate the low brightness mode.
Connect the White wire from the light to the vehicle's brake light or turn signal positive (+) circuit. This will activate the high brightness mode.
Ensure all connections are secure and protected from moisture and abrasion using electrical tape or heat shrink tubing.

6. Operation

Once properly installed and wired, the TMH 6-Inch Oval Arrow LED Red Tail Lights will operate as follows:

When the vehicle's running lights or tail lights are activated, the lights will illuminate at low brightness (via the Red wire connection).
When the vehicle's brake pedal is pressed or the turn signal is activated, the lights will illuminate at high brightness (via the White wire connection). If used as a turn signal, the high brightness will flash according to the vehicle's flasher relay.

Note: If you intend to use these lights solely as turn signals or emergency lights, a flasher relay or controller (not included) may be required for proper flashing functionality.
