Product Overview and Components
Familiarize yourself with the various parts of your MasterChef Planetary Mixer:
- Motor Head: Contains the motor and attachment ports.
- Mixing Bowl: 4.3-liter stainless steel bowl for ingredients.
- Dough Hook: For kneading heavy doughs (e.g., bread, pizza).
- Beater (Flat Beater): For medium-heavy mixtures (e.g., cakes, cookies, mashed potatoes).

Setup and First Use
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Cleaning: Before first use, wash the mixing bowl, splash guard, and all attachments (dough hook, beater, whisk) in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water.
- Placement: Place the mixer on a clean, dry, stable, and flat surface. Ensure there is enough space around the mixer for ventilation and operation. The anti-slip feet should firmly grip the surface.
- Attaching the Bowl: Place the mixing bowl onto the base, aligning the grooves, and twist clockwise until it locks securely into place.
- Attaching Accessories:
- Ensure the mixer is unplugged and the speed dial is in the "OFF" position.
- Press the head release lever and tilt the motor head upwards until it locks.
- Select the desired attachment (dough hook, beater, or whisk). Align the top of the attachment with the shaft and push upwards, then twist counter-clockwise until it clicks into place.
- Lower the motor head by pressing the head release lever again and gently pushing the head down until it locks.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a suitable 127V electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions
- Add Ingredients: Place your ingredients into the mixing bowl.
- Select Attachment: Ensure the correct attachment is securely installed for your recipe.
- Lower Head: Make sure the motor head is fully lowered and locked.
- Select Speed: Turn the speed control dial clockwise from "OFF" to the desired speed setting (1-8).
- Speeds 1-2: For heavy mixtures, kneading dough.
- Speeds 3-4: For medium-heavy mixtures, creaming butter and sugar.
- Speeds 5-6: For light mixtures, beating batters.
- Speeds 7-8: For whipping egg whites, cream, or meringues.
- Pulse (P): For short bursts of maximum power.
- Mixing: The mixer will begin to operate. Do not overload the mixer.
- Stopping: To stop the mixer, turn the speed control dial counter-clockwise back to the "OFF" position.
- Removing Bowl/Attachments: Unplug the mixer. Press the head release lever to tilt the head. Remove the attachment by pushing up and twisting clockwise. Then, twist the bowl counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your mixer.
- Always Unplug: Before cleaning, always ensure the mixer is unplugged from the power outlet.
- Motor Base: Wipe the exterior of the motor base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers. Never immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.
- Mixing Bowl and Attachments: The stainless steel mixing bowl, dough hook, beater, and whisk are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, they can be washed by hand in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately to prevent water spots or corrosion.
- Splash Guard: Wash the transparent splash guard in warm, soapy water and rinse well. Dry with a soft cloth.
- Storage: Store the mixer and its accessories in a clean, dry place. Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing.
