3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Headset

  1. Connect the charging cable (usually Micro USB) to the charging port on the headset.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter).
  3. The LED indicator will typically show red during charging and turn off or blue when fully charged.
  4. A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours and provides up to 14 hours of continuous playback.

3.2 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the headset is fully charged before initial pairing.
  2. With the headset powered off, press and hold the Power button (often also the Play/Pause button) for approximately 5-7 seconds until the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately. This indicates pairing mode.
  3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Select "RB-500HB" from the list of found devices.
  5. Once connected, the LED indicator on the headset will typically flash blue slowly or turn solid blue.
  6. The headset can connect to two devices simultaneously. To connect a second device, repeat the pairing process after the first device is connected.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the Power button for about 3 seconds until the LED indicator flashes blue.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for about 3-5 seconds until the LED indicator flashes red and then turns off.

4.2 Music Playback

  • Play/Pause: Press the Power/Play/Pause button once.
  • Next Track: Press and hold the Volume Up (+) button.
  • Previous Track: Press and hold the Volume Down (-) button.
  • Volume Up: Short press the Volume Up (+) button.
  • Volume Down: Short press the Volume Down (-) button.

4.3 Call Management

  • Answer Call: Press the Power/Play/Pause button once when a call comes in.
  • End Call: Press the Power/Play/Pause button once during a call.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the Power/Play/Pause button for about 2 seconds when a call comes in.
  • Redial Last Number: Double-press the Power/Play/Pause button.

5. Maintenance

  • Clean the headset regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Avoid exposing the headset to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
  • Store the headset in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the headset, as this will void the warranty and may cause damage.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Headset will not power on: Ensure the headset is fully charged. Connect it to a power source and try again.
  • Cannot pair with device:
    1. Ensure the headset is in pairing mode (LED flashing red and blue).
    2. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and it is within range (typically 10 meters).
    3. Turn off and on both the headset and your device, then try pairing again.
    4. Clear previous Bluetooth connections on your device if necessary.
  • No sound or poor sound quality:
    1. Check the volume levels on both the headset and your connected device.
    2. Ensure the headset is properly paired and connected.
    3. Move closer to your device to avoid interference.
