- Locate the power switch on the underside of the toy, near the battery compartment.
- Slide the switch to the 'ON' position to activate the toy.
- To conserve battery life, slide the switch to the 'OFF' position when the toy is not in use. The toy also features an auto power-off function after a period of inactivity.

- Movement Activation: Roll the pirate ship across a surface or through water. The movement of its wheels will trigger various melodies and fun noises.
- Illuminated Button: Press the illuminated button located on the ship's deck. This button activates themed sentences, songs (4 included), and additional melodies (10 included).
