Setup
1. Unpacking and Placement
Carefully remove the printer from its packaging. Place the printer on a stable, flat surface with adequate space around it for operation and ventilation. Ensure all protective tapes and packing materials are removed from the exterior and interior of the printer.
2. Power Connection
Connect the power cord to the printer and then to a grounded electrical outlet. Do not connect the printer to your computer yet.
3. Initial Ink Cartridge Installation

Follow the on-screen instructions on the printer's 4.3" color touchscreen to install the initial set of DURABrite Ultra Ink cartridges. Ensure each cartridge clicks into place securely.
4. Paper Loading

Load paper into the 250-sheet paper tray. The printer also features a rear feed for specialty paper. Adjust the paper guides to fit the paper size.
5. Network Setup
The WF-7710 supports Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, and Ethernet connectivity. Follow the instructions on the printer's touchscreen to connect to your network. For Wi-Fi, select your network and enter the password. For Ethernet, connect an Ethernet cable from the printer to your router.
Operating the Printer

1. Using the Touchscreen
The 4.3" color touchscreen provides intuitive access to all printer functions. Navigate through menus by swiping and tapping. The home screen displays options for Copy, Scan, Fax, and Presets.
2. Printing
To print from a computer, ensure the printer drivers are installed. Select the print option from your application, choose the WF-7710, and adjust settings as needed (paper size, type, color/black & white, 2-sided printing). The printer supports borderless prints up to 13" x 19".

3. Mobile Printing

The WF-7710 supports wireless printing from iPad, iPhone, Android tablets, and smartphones. Download the appropriate Epson Connect app to enable printing directly from your mobile device.
4. Copying
Place your document on the scanner glass or in the 35-page Auto Document Feeder (ADF). Select 'Copy' from the touchscreen, choose your settings (number of copies, color/black & white, 2-sided), and press Start. The printer supports automatic 2-sided copying.
5. Scanning
Place your document on the scanner glass or in the ADF. Select 'Scan' from the touchscreen. You can scan to a computer, cloud service, or USB drive. The printer scans up to 11" x 17" documents.
6. Faxing
Load your document into the ADF. Select 'Fax' from the touchscreen, enter the recipient's fax number, and press Start. The printer supports automatic 2-sided faxing.
Maintenance
1. Replacing Ink Cartridges
When an ink cartridge runs low or is empty, a message will appear on the touchscreen. Open the ink cartridge cover, press the tab on the cartridge to release it, and remove the old cartridge. Unpack the new Epson DURABrite Ultra Ink cartridge, remove the yellow tape, and insert it into the correct slot until it clicks. Close the cover.
2. Cleaning the Printer
Regularly clean the exterior of the printer with a soft, damp cloth. For print quality issues, use the printer's maintenance utility (accessible via the touchscreen or computer software) to perform print head cleaning or print head alignment.
Troubleshooting
1. Paper Jams
If a paper jam occurs, the printer's touchscreen will display instructions on how to clear it. Typically, this involves opening access covers and carefully removing the jammed paper. Ensure all paper fragments are removed to prevent further jams.
2. Connectivity Issues
If the printer is not connecting to your network or computer, verify that the Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection is active. Restart your router, computer, and printer. Ensure the printer drivers are up to date on your computer.
3. Print Quality Problems
For faded prints, streaks, or incorrect colors, perform a print head cleaning and nozzle check from the printer's maintenance menu. If the issue persists, perform a print head alignment.
