4. Setup
4.1 Battery Grip Installation
- Prepare the Camera: Turn off your Sony A6300 or A6000 camera. Remove the camera's battery and the battery compartment cover. Store the cover safely.
- Insert Batteries into Grip: Open the battery tray of the MK-A6300 Pro grip. Insert one or two NP-FW50 lithium batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the battery tray securely.

- Attach Grip to Camera: Align the battery grip's mounting screw with the camera's tripod socket. Insert the battery bin connector into the camera's battery compartment. Tighten the thumbwheel on the grip until it is firmly attached to the camera.

- Battery Life Extension: With two NP-FW50 batteries installed, the grip significantly extends your camera's operating time. The camera will draw power from one battery, then automatically switch to the second when the first is depleted.
