4. Setup and Installation
Proper installation is crucial for the performance and longevity of your washing machine. Please ensure adequate space and correct connections.
4.1 Space Requirements
Ensure the installation area meets the following minimum space requirements:
- Product Dimensions: 54 cm (Depth) x 50 cm (Width) x 94 cm (Height).
- Minimum Clearance: Allow at least 10cm extra width for product movement and door opening.
- Rear Clearance: At least 1cm from the wall.
- Side Clearance: At least 1cm from the wall on the left/right side.
- Top Clearance: Ensure sufficient space (10-20cm above the machine height) for opening the lid and for the water faucet.

4.2 Connections
- Water Supply: Connect the provided water supply hose to the water faucet and the machine's inlet. Ensure a secure, leak-free connection.
- Drainage: Position the drain hose to allow for proper water discharge. Ensure it is not kinked or blocked. The drain hose should be at least 9cm from the side of the machine.
- Power Supply: Plug the power cord into a dedicated 100V electrical outlet.
4.3 Leveling
Use the adjustable feet to ensure the machine is perfectly level. An unlevel machine can cause excessive vibration and noise during operation.

5. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for basic operation of your Hisense HW-T55C washing machine.
5.1 Preparing Laundry
- Sort laundry by fabric type, color, and soil level.
- Empty pockets and close zippers.

5.4 Starting the Wash Cycle
- Press the 'Power' button to turn on the machine.
- Select your desired wash course using the 'Course' button.
- Adjust water level if necessary (some courses automatically detect).
- Press the 'Start/Pause' button to begin the cycle.
5.5 Delay Start (Reservation)
To set a delayed start time, select your course, then press the 'Reservation' button and adjust the desired delay time (e.g., 1-24 hours). The machine will start automatically after the set time.
5.6 Child Lock
To activate the child lock, press and hold the designated button (often indicated on the control panel, e.g., 'Course' button for 5 seconds) until the child lock indicator appears. This prevents accidental operation by children.
6. Maintenance and Care

6.1 Cleaning the Tub
