1. Product Overview

The ROCKBROS Electric Bicycle Bell is a compact and waterproof electronic horn designed for bicycles. It features multiple sound modes and a silicone strap for universal handlebar mounting.

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Initial Battery Preparation

Before first use, ensure the battery insulation pad is removed. This pad prevents battery drain during storage.

3.2 Mounting on Handlebar

The bell features an elastic silicone strap and housing, allowing for flexible attachment to various handlebar sizes. The bell is secured by a hook at the rear.

1. Position the bell on your bicycle handlebar at a convenient location.
2. Wrap the silicone strap around the handlebar.
3. Secure the strap by hooking it onto the designated latch on the bell's body.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Activating the Bell

Press the button on the top of the bell to activate the sound.

4.2 Changing Sound Modes

The bell offers three distinct sound types:

• Standard 'ding-dong' sound
• Police whistle sound
• 'Ooga' horn sound

To switch between these sound modes, press and hold the button for three seconds.

4.3 Sound Output

The bell produces a sound level greater than 75 dB. Please note that in areas with heavy vehicle traffic, the sound may not be perceived as sufficiently loud.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Water Resistance

The bell is IPX4 water-resistant, meaning it is protected against splashing water from any direction. It can be used in rainy conditions. Do not immerse the bell directly in water.

5.2 Battery Replacement

The bell uses two CR2 batteries, which typically last for one year. To replace the batteries, follow these steps:

1. Carefully pull the horn unit out of its silicone casing.
2. Remove the battery holder and the old batteries.
3. Insert two new CR2 batteries into the holder, observing correct polarity.
4. Reinsert the battery holder into the horn unit.
5. Slide the horn unit back into the silicone casing until it is securely in place.

6. Troubleshooting

• No Sound or Weak Sound:
  Check if the battery insulation pad has been completely removed. If the batteries are old or depleted, replace them following the instructions in Section 5.2. Note that the bell's sound level may be less effective in very noisy environments.
• Difficulty Changing Sound Modes:
  Ensure you are pressing and holding the button for approximately three seconds. A quick press will only activate the current sound mode.
