2. Setup and Preparation

2.1 Unpacking and Placement

  • Carefully remove the sewing machine from its packaging.
  • Place the machine on a stable, flat surface. Ensure adequate space around the machine for comfortable operation.
  • Connect the power cord to the machine and then to a suitable electrical outlet.
  • Connect the foot controller to the designated port on the machine.

2.2 Threading the Machine

Proper threading is crucial for smooth operation. This model features an easy needle threading mechanism.

  1. Raise the presser foot and needle to their highest positions.
  2. Place a spool of upper thread on the spool pin.
  3. Follow the numbered threading path indicated on the machine body.
  4. Use the built-in needle threader: Lower the needle threader lever, hook the thread, and release the lever to pull the thread through the needle eye.

2.3 Winding and Inserting the Bobbin

  1. Place an empty bobbin onto the bobbin winder spindle.
  2. Guide the thread from the spool through the bobbin winding tension disc.
  3. Wrap the thread around the bobbin a few times, then push the spindle to the right.
  4. Press the foot controller gently to wind the bobbin. Stop when the bobbin is full.
  5. Open the bobbin cover. Insert the wound bobbin into the bobbin case, ensuring the thread unwinds in the correct direction.
  6. Pull the bobbin thread through the tension spring and out of the bobbin case.
  7. Close the bobbin cover.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Basic Sewing

To begin sewing, select your desired stitch pattern and adjust the stitch length and width as needed. Place your fabric under the presser foot, lower the presser foot, and gently press the foot controller.

3.2 Stitch Selection and Adjustment

4. Maintenance

  • Tighten the needle clamp screw securely.
