  • The glass pitcher is fragile; handle with care. Avoid sudden temperature changes.

Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for storage or shipping if needed.
  2. Clean: Before first use, wash the glass pitcher, brew basket, mesh filter, and infusion tube in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the brewing unit with a damp cloth.
  3. Placement: Place the brewing unit on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface near an electrical outlet. Ensure there is adequate clearance above the unit for the lid to open.
  4. Assemble: Insert the mesh filter into the brew basket, then place the brew basket into the brewing unit. Ensure the glass pitcher is correctly positioned on the drip tray beneath the brew basket.

Operating Instructions

Brewing Iced Tea or Coffee:

  1. Add Tea/Coffee: Open the lid of the brewing unit. Place your desired amount of loose tea, tea bags, or coffee grounds into the mesh filter within the brew basket. Close the lid securely.
  2. Fill Water Reservoir: Fill the glass pitcher with cold water up to the 'Water' fill line. Pour this water into the water reservoir at the back of the brewing unit. Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line on the reservoir.
  3. Add Ice: Fill the glass pitcher with ice cubes up to the 'Ice' fill line. Place the pitcher back onto the drip tray.
  4. Adjust Brew Strength: Use the adjustable brew strength selector on the front of the unit to choose your preferred strength. Slide towards the smaller dots for lighter brew, and towards the larger dots for stronger brew.
  5. Optional Infusion: If desired, place sliced fruits (e.g., lemon, lime) or herbs into the infusion tube and insert it into the pitcher before brewing.

  7. Start Brewing: Plug the appliance into a standard electrical outlet. Press the 'Brew' button on the side of the unit. The indicator light will illuminate, and brewing will begin.
  8. Automatic Shut-Off: The appliance will automatically shut off once the brewing cycle is complete. The indicator light will turn off.
  9. Serve: Carefully remove the pitcher from the unit. The brew-through lid allows for easy serving. Enjoy your freshly brewed iced tea or coffee.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your appliance.

  1. Unplug: Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Discard Grounds/Tea: Remove the brew basket and mesh filter. Discard used tea leaves or coffee grounds.
  3. Dishwasher Safe Parts: The glass pitcher, brew basket, mesh filter, and infusion tube are dishwasher safe (top rack recommended) or can be washed by hand in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
  4. Wipe Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the brewing unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. Never immerse the brewing unit in water.
  5. Drip Tray: Remove and clean the drip tray as needed.
  6. Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits may build up in the water reservoir. To descale, fill the water reservoir with a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water. Run a brew cycle without tea/coffee. Repeat with clean water to rinse. Perform descaling every 1-3 months depending on water hardness.

Troubleshooting
