3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
  2. Open the battery cover. The clock features a drop-down hinge battery cover to prevent loss.
  3. Insert 3 AA batteries (included) according to the polarity indicators (+ and -) inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery cover securely.

4. Operation

4.1 Setting the Time

  1. Locate the 'TIME SET' knob on the back of the clock.
  2. Rotate the knob in the direction of the arrow to set the current time. Ensure you set the correct AM/PM if applicable (the alarm hand will indicate this).

4.2 Setting the Alarm

  1. Locate the 'ALARM SET' knob on the back of the clock.
  2. Rotate the knob in the direction of the arrow to set your desired alarm time.
  3. Ensure the alarm ON/OFF switch (located on the side) is in the 'ON' position.

4.3 Selecting Alarm Sounds

The clock offers 7 distinct wake-up sounds:

  • 1. Jasmine Flower (Kenny G)
  • 2. かざぐるま (Japanese Pop Music)
  • 3. MARIAGE D'AMOUR (French Music)
  • 4. Cannon
  • 5. Jasmine (Chinese Folk Music)
  • 6. Birdsong
  • 7. Beep (Traditional)

To select an alarm sound, rotate the 'SOUNDS OPTIONS' knob on the front of the clock to your preferred number (1-7).

4.4 Adjusting Alarm Volume

To adjust the alarm volume, rotate the 'VOLUME' knob on the front of the clock. You can set the volume from 25dB to 85dB to suit your preference, whether you are a light or heavy sleeper.

4.5 Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, press the large top bar of the clock to activate the snooze function. The alarm will be temporarily suspended for 5 minutes and will sound again after this period. This can be repeated for approximately 1 hour.

4.6 Nightlight Function

To view the time in the dark, press the large top bar of the clock. The dial will illuminate temporarily for a few seconds, providing clear visibility without being overly bright.

4.7 Alarm ON/OFF Switch

A separate alarm ON/OFF switch is located on the side of the clock. Slide this switch to 'ON' to enable the alarm or 'OFF' to disable it completely.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

  • Nightlight not working:
    Ensure batteries are not depleted. Press the large top bar firmly.
