Operating Instructions

Before First Use:

  • Ensure the pressure washer is on a stable, level surface.
  • Connect the garden hose to the water inlet on the pressure washer. Ensure the water supply is turned on fully.
  • Squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to purge air from the system until a steady stream of water emerges. This protects the pump.

Starting the Pressure Washer:

  1. Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) should be tested before each use.
  2. Turn the power switch to the "ON" position. The motor will start.
  3. Squeeze the spray gun trigger to begin spraying. Release the trigger to stop the flow and engage the automatic shut-off.

Using the Adjustable Spray Nozzle:

The adjustable spray nozzle allows you to change the spray pattern from a narrow, powerful stream to a wide, gentle fan. Rotate the head of the gun to select the desired spray pattern for your cleaning task.

Using the Detergent Tank:

  1. Fill the detergent tank with pressure washer safe detergent. Do not use bleach or abrasive cleaners.
  2. Ensure the adjustable nozzle is set to the low-pressure/detergent setting (usually a wide fan or specific soap nozzle).
  3. Squeeze the trigger to apply detergent. The pressure washer will automatically mix the detergent with water.
  4. After applying detergent, switch back to a high-pressure setting to rinse the surface.

Shutting Down:

  1. Turn the power switch to the "OFF" position.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the outlet.
  3. Turn off the water supply.
  4. Squeeze the spray gun trigger to release any remaining pressure in the system.
  5. Disconnect the garden hose and high-pressure hose.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your pressure washer.

  • Clean Nozzles: Periodically clean the nozzle opening with the provided nozzle cleaning tool (if included) or a thin wire to remove any blockages.
  • Water Inlet Filter: Check and clean the water inlet filter regularly to prevent debris from entering the pump.
  • Hose and Cord Inspection: Inspect the high-pressure hose and power cord for any signs of damage before each use. Replace if damaged.
  • Winter Storage (if applicable): If storing in freezing temperatures, drain all water from the pump, hose, and spray gun to prevent damage. Consider using a pump protector.
  • General Cleaning: Wipe down the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.
