2.2. Device Layout and Controls

Key Controls (Refer to Figure 2):

• LCD Display: Shows current mode, station information, time, and settings.
• Power Button: Turns the device on/off.
• Mode Button: Switches between DAB+, FM, Bluetooth, and AUX modes.
• Preset Buttons: For saving and recalling favorite radio stations.

3. Setup

3.1. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the TRADIO speaker. Connect the supplied AC adapter to the DC IN port on the back of the speaker and plug it into a power outlet. The charging indicator on the display will show the charging status. A full charge provides up to 10 hours of playback time.

3.2. Antenna Setup

For optimal DAB+ and FM radio reception, fully extend the telescopic antenna located on the back of the unit.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Power On/Off

Press and hold the Power Button (refer to Figure 2) for approximately 2 seconds to turn the speaker on or off.

4.2. Mode Selection

Press the Mode Button repeatedly to cycle through the available modes: DAB+, FM, Bluetooth, and AUX.

4.3. DAB+ Radio Operation

1. Switch to DAB+ mode using the Mode Button.
2. The radio will automatically perform a full scan for available DAB+ stations upon first use or if no stations are found.
3. Use the Navigation Buttons or Rotary Knob to browse through the list of available stations.
4. Press the Select/Enter Button or push the Rotary Knob to select a station.
5. Saving Presets: While listening to a station, press and hold a Preset Button (e.g., P1, P2) until the display confirms the station is saved.
6. Recalling Presets: Briefly press a Preset Button to tune to the saved station.

4.4. FM Radio Operation

1. Switch to FM mode using the Mode Button.
2. Auto Scan: Press and hold the Select/Enter Button to automatically scan for and save available FM stations.
3. Manual Tuning: Use the Navigation Buttons to fine-tune the frequency.
4. Saving Presets: While listening to a station, press and hold a Preset Button until the display confirms the station is saved.
5. Recalling Presets: Briefly press a Preset Button to tune to the saved station.

4.5. Bluetooth Speaker Operation

1. Switch to Bluetooth mode using the Mode Button. The display will show "Bluetooth Pairing" or similar, and an indicator light may flash.
2. On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "KREAFUNK TRADIO" from the list of devices.
4. Once paired, the speaker will confirm the connection, and you can play audio from your device through the TRADIO speaker.
5. The effective Bluetooth wireless transmission range is up to 10 meters.

4.6. AUX Input Operation

1. Switch to AUX mode using the Mode Button.
2. Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player) to the AUX IN port on the back of the TRADIO speaker using a 3.5mm audio cable (not supplied).
3. Play audio from your external device. The sound will be routed through the TRADIO speaker.

4.7. Volume Control

Rotate the Rotary Knob clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease volume.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish. Avoid exposing the device to excessive moisture.

5.2. Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the TRADIO speaker in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the battery is partially charged before storage to maintain battery health.

6. Troubleshooting

• No Power: Ensure the device is charged or connected to the AC adapter. Check if the power button is pressed correctly.
• No Sound: Check the volume level on both the TRADIO speaker and the connected audio source (if using Bluetooth or AUX). Ensure the correct mode is selected.
• Poor Radio Reception: Fully extend the antenna. Try repositioning the speaker to a location with better signal. Perform a new station scan.
• Bluetooth Pairing Issues: Ensure the TRADIO is in Bluetooth pairing mode. Turn off and on Bluetooth on your mobile device. Ensure your device is within the 10-meter range. Disconnect any other Bluetooth devices from your mobile device.
• Device Unresponsive: If the device becomes unresponsive, try connecting it to the AC adapter and holding the power button for 10 seconds to perform a reset.
