Setup and Assembly
The Ameriwood Home Farmington 31.5" Wide Rustic Cabinet ships flat to your door and requires assembly. It is recommended that assembly be performed by two adults to ensure proper and safe construction.
Before You Begin:
- Verify all parts and hardware are present by comparing with the included parts list.
- Clear a spacious area for assembly to prevent damage to components.
- Have necessary tools ready (e.g., Phillips head screwdriver, hammer).
Assembly Steps:
- Carefully unpack all components and identify them using the provided diagrams.
- Attach cam locks and dowels to the main panels as instructed in the assembly guide.
- Assemble the base and top panels to the side panels.
- Insert the fixed shelves into their designated slots.
- Attach the back panel to the assembled frame.
- Install the door hinges and attach the cabinet doors. Ensure doors align properly.
- Install the door handles.
- Insert the adjustable shelves at your desired height.
- Secure the cabinet to a wall using the included safety bracket kit to prevent tipping.

Operating Instructions
The Farmington cabinet is designed for straightforward use and organization.
Opening and Closing Doors:
Gently pull the handles to open the cabinet doors. Push the doors firmly until the magnetic catches engage to ensure they remain closed.

Adjusting Shelves:
Two of the four shelves are adjustable. To reposition an adjustable shelf, carefully remove any items from the shelf. Lift the shelf slightly and pull it out. Reinsert the shelf into the desired set of pre-drilled holes, ensuring it is level and securely seated on all four shelf pins.

Each fixed shelf can hold up to 30 pounds, while adjustable shelves can hold up to 25 pounds. Do not exceed these weight limits to prevent damage or injury.
Maintenance and Care
