The Starkey Fog Light Wiring Adapters are designed to simplify the installation of aftermarket LED cube lights that utilize Deutsch DT Series 2-pin connectors. These adapters connect directly to your vehicle's factory H16 bulb connector and split into two Deutsch DT Series 2-pin outputs, allowing you to power up to four LED cube lights. Setup and Installation
These adapters are designed for a plug-and-play installation, requiring no cutting or splicing of your vehicle's wiring. Simply connect the H16 end to your factory fog light harness and the Deutsch connectors to your LED lights.

Reversing the Polarity of a Deutsch Connector
Starkey configures these adapters to work with the most common polarity used on aftermarket LED lamps. Unlike traditional halogen bulbs, LED lamps are polarity sensitive, meaning they need the positive voltage and ground oriented correctly to function. In some cases, the polarity configuration can vary with aftermarket LED lamps. If your lamps do not illuminate after installing these adapters, it is simple to reverse the polarity by following the steps below.

- Using a small flat head screw driver, pry one corner of the teal green cap of the Deutsch connector. The cap will 'pop' off, exposing each terminal.
- Using the screwdriver again, push to one side the small clips holding each terminal in place. At the same time, pull the wire out the back of the connector.
- Then simply reverse the wires, plug the cap back in, and re-connect your wiring. Test the first adapter and then repeat on the second adapter.

Operating Instructions
Once installed, the adapters will provide power to your connected LED lights when the vehicle's fog lights are activated. Ensure all connections are secure and weatherproof.

Troubleshooting
LED Lights Not Illuminating
If your LED lights do not turn on after installation, the most common issue is incorrect polarity. LED lights are polarity sensitive. Please refer to the "Reversing the Polarity of a Deutsch Connector" section above for detailed instructions on how to correct this.
